We can see the effects of global warming in the sounds of nature. Bernie Krause with his technique: always using the same kind of equipment, in the same spot and at the same time once a week, is able to catalogue and compare the different sounds of nature. He has been doing this for over 50 years and has created a whole archive with sounds coming from different parts of the world, that shows us how they changed radically.
It is particularly impressing the change that you can see in nature from 2004 to 2015, going almost completely silent. If there’s a change in this places we are the one to blame, we don’t even know what are the consequences that we will experience in the long term because of our actions, but we should definitely do something before the situation will become irreversible.
